FAQs

The wedding party will be gathering at the Hotel at 3pm for the father of the bride to give her away, we then be moving onto the Church. If you are meeting as at the church we would suggest arriving to the church for 3.30pm, as the ceremony will start at 4pm.

What time I should arrive there for?

We suggest dressing the same as you would for a wedding in England, though hats are not common at Hungarian weddings. In terms of colours we would suggest steering away from white and purple as this is the colour the bridal party will be wearing.

What should I wear?

Yes. Kids of all ages are more than welcome, including teenagers. Hungarian culture is very family orientated and that especially includes weddings

Are kids welcome?

We don’t currently have a gift list, through we are considering one. Traditionally during Hungarian weddings gifts of money are presented in envelopes to the bride and groom during the menyecske dance at midnight. We would prefer if our guests join us in this tradition as we can put the money towards our honeymoon.
